Unjust rivalry on the telecommunication facilities market
Are you confident in there are 60 seconds in one minute? But correspondingly to IDT lots of telephone card companies only give customers 36 seconds in a minute. According to the assertion done by some IDT corporation, a lot of telephone card companies are become a party in unjust rivalry. In 2007 IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) commenced a suit against several companies-providers of prepaid phone cards alleging erroneous advertising and deceptive trade operations.
According to IDT media research, some of their competitors just give 60 percent of the advertised minutes to the cutomer. In November 2007 Total Call International, Inc. and IDT/UTA have reached a complete resolution of the lawsuit delivered by IDT Telecom, Inc. and Union Telecard Alliance, LLC versus Total Call. That is the fourth group of defendants that have settled the litigation initiated by IDT/UTA. Today there is a list of another defendants comprises about six corporations and some of them are: Epana Networks Inc., Dollar Phone Corp., etc.. IDT/UTA's suit against the residuary defendants is still persisting in federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey. Lately I have found an article on one of telephone card related websites where a softswitch developer demoed his project.
